This edition matches the size and design of Harper Collins Limited Editions of The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, and The History of Middle Earth Series. The large Tolkien Monogram is gilt stamped on the front boards. The book is housed in the original publisher's black cloth slipcase, showcasing the monogram design gilt stamped on the exterior, echoing the design on the book.
