The Hobbit, or There and Back Again, by J.R.R. Tolkien. This Limited Numbered Edition was published by Unwin Hyman in 1987 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the original publication of The Hobbit. Bound in dark green leather, and housed in the original publishers cloth and leather slipcase.

This copy is numbered #485 of 500, and contains the special foreword by Christopher Tolkien.

This copy is in mint condition, opened only to inspect.
Still has the original packing box with the numbered Limitation Notice to the front.

No foxing to the Limitation Notice, no other marks whatsoever, Mint unread condition, a must for the serious collector.
