The set is fully rebound in Black Morocco Leather with Red Leather inserts with the Title and Author gilt stamped.
The set is further characterized by custom Marbled endpapers, by Joan Ajala of Australia, silk ribbon markers bound in, all edges trimmed and gilded, and is housed in a custom case designed to mirror the image of the books as well as to protect and show these beautiful books. These are distinguished by compartments, with raised bands, gilt tooling, and gilt ruled edges.
Title, Author, Publisher and Date, as well as a 'Ring and Eye' device from the original UK dustjackets are featured in the compartments, and a larger version of the 'Ring & Eye' on the front boards of the case.
A beautiful design, executed by one of America's premier binders.
