The Fellowship dustjacket is price clipped, and have no sunning or tanning to the spines. The dustjacket of the Fellowship has some closed splits and wrinkles around the top and bottom of the spine folds. These have been reinforced on the interior with archival tape. One small chip at the lower rear corner of the spine fold, doesn't effect the George Allen and Unwin printing. Some minor rubbing and very light soiling to the edges. No names or writing in any of these books. There is absolutely no foxing or offsetting in any of the books. The text block is clean and bright, edges are also clean.
The Two Towers red topstain is clean, slightly faded on the Fellowship, clean on the Return. The exterior cloth is clean, with the gilt untarnished and bright, the Two Towers slightly dulled.
The books look very nice, and the maps are attached, and in excellent condition. No shelf wear to the edges, or bumped corners.
