A beautiful set quarter bound in dark green leather and cloth with the JRRT monogram on the front boards of the books and the original publishers slipcase. The slipcase still has the original shrink wrap with only the portion covering the spines cut out, to allow access to the books. Each book has gilded edges, ribbon marker bound in, and signed limitation page. Fifty original illustrations by Alan Lee thru the 3 books. You can follow how the movies were first visualized by Lee, and carried thru by Peter Jackson, with Lee's assistance throughout the movie's production.

An exceptional set of books, virtually untouched and unread, and one of only 250 produced world wide.
This seperate three book set, makes handling and viewing much less of a problem then the Limited single volume editions that were large and awkward to handle.
