Tolkien Fanatics Invade Hollywood (05.09.13 by Pieter Collier) - Comments

The Hollywood section of Los Angeles will host what is billed as North America's largest gathering of Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and J.R.R. Tolkien die-hard fans, and this inaugural event boasts appearances by Actors of both franchises.

The Trilo3y Fan Convention runs November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Hollywood and tickets go on sale from August 19th!

Hollywood seems the place to be for all things Tolkien for fanboys and fangirls this November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd....  Hitch your wagon, bring the kids and a Wizard if willing, and join like minded fans for a 3-day re-creation of the fictitious lands depicted in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Tinseltown - or Hollywood, to be exact, will play host to the Trilo3y Fan Convention, and according to Angry Goat Productions, the Producers of the event,  they are striving to be North America’s largest such Tolkien convention.

The 3 day event program calls for:
An Opening Night Black-Tie Gala featuring special VIP guests; 
A Middle-earth Masquerade ball-the ultimate Cosplay;
An Actors Q&A Fan Workshop and a
A Tolkien Discussion Panel with noted scholars and experts.

Attendees are also being offered autograph signings,  a ‘walk through Middle-earth’ fan experience, stilt-walking Ents, Hobbit inspired food, and a special Trilo3y Tavern area for the 21 and over crowd.

The Trilo3yfest Celebration includes exhibits, interactive displays, screenings, other celebrity guests, additional panels, photograph sessions, fan-inspired activities and more special surprises.

The convention runs November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the city of Angels.
