Created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first publication of 'The Hobbit,' this special edition features full-color plates and a number of smaller black and white drawings. The book is signed and numbered by the renowned artist Alan Lee.
With a gilt title, gilded page edges, and a gilt image of Smaug on the book and slipcase, this fine condition edition of The Hobbit is a true collector's gem. The slipcase is in very near fine condition, with only a few minor fingerprints from prior handling.
