This rare red leather limited edition of The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien is a true gem for collectors. Published in 1982 using first edition sheets from 1977, this edition was printed by Clowes and Sons and features a signature by Christopher Tolkien.

This particular copy, number 11 of the first one thousand copies off the press, was reserved for later publication in this collector's edition. The book and slipcase are both in very fine condition, bound in bright red leather with gold gilding on the front and spine. The top edge of the pages is also adorned with gold gilding.
