Originally first published in 1967, Smith of Wootton Major stands as one of Tolkien’s most refined and lyrical explorations of Faërie. The volume is illustrated throughout by Pauline Baynes.

A clean and well-preserved example. The binding remains firm and square. Pages are fresh and bright, with no ownership inscriptions visible in the photographed pages. Light natural toning consistent with age. A small remainder mark and original price sticker are present to the rear, as shown.
