The original pictorial laminated boards reproduce Tolkien's artwork on the front and rear covers. This copy retains the circular
£2.50 publisher's price label on the rear board. The edition was issued without a dust jacket.
Condition: An attractive copy with light surface rubbing and minor edge and corner wear to the laminated boards. A small ripple or crease is visible near the upper spine edge of the front board. The photographed interior pages appear clean and the illustrations retain their colour. Please consult the seven photographs for the visible condition of this copy.
