A substantial single-volume hardback edition issued to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the original publication in 1954. This edition presents the complete text of The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King in a single volume.

The text incorporates the fully corrected 50th Anniversary setting, prepared in collaboration with Christopher Tolkien and reflecting Tolkien’s final revisions.

Bound in glossy black boards featuring the gilt circular Ring device with the red Eye of Sauron at the centre, surrounded by Tengwar inscription. The spine carries Tolkien’s monogram and title in gilt. Red endpapers and ribbon marker complete the design. A striking and highly recognisable anniversary presentation.

Condition:
