Condition:
A used copy showing noticeable signs of age and reading. The colourful front cover remains attractive and retains its strong pink background. The covers have rubbing, edge wear and worn corners, including more pronounced wear at the lower corners.

The spine is rubbed and worn, with small areas of surface loss and wear along the joints. The inner front hinge shows visible separation and should be handled with care. The pages display the expected age-toning, particularly around the margins, but appear clean in the photographs provided.

Despite its condition, this remains an appealing example of a scarce early printing of the Dutch Hobbit, retaining the sought-after Cees Kelfkens cover. Please examine all photographs carefully for a complete impression of its condition.

A scarce early Dutch Hobbit whose wonderfully idiosyncratic Kelfkens cover still gives this worn copy real collecting character. Offered at 220 EUR.
