De Hobbit – Prisma-boeken 529 – 9th Impression (1972)
The classic Dutch paperback edition of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, published by Het Spectrum with the beloved cover design by Cees Kelfkens.
This is the 9th impression (1972) of the Dutch translation of De Hobbit by Max Schuchart, issued as part of the well-known Prisma-boeken series (nr. 529). A highly collectible vintage paperback edition, recognised for its distinctive and charming cover artwork by Cees Kelfkens.
Condition:
A solid and complete copy. General age-toning to the pages as expected for Prisma editions of this period. The cover shows light edgewear and mild creasing, but remains bright and attractive. Spine shows reading wear but is intact. The interior is clean throughout.
The fold-out map is present and firmly attached.
No loose gatherings. A well-preserved example of this impression.
