A finely rebound set of the UK Second Edition of The Lord of the Rings, consisting of the following impressions: Fellowship of the Ring (6th impression, 1971), The Two Towers (5th impression, 1970), and The Return of the King (10th impression, 1978).

Each volume has been handsomely bound in full green leather with raised bands to the spine, red and black title labels, and decorative marbled endpapers. The top page edges are tinted maroon. All three maps are present and in excellent condition.

The interiors are very clean, with no inscriptions or markings. Slight dulling to the spine titling on Fellowship. A few minor edge marks are noted, but overall presentation is excellent.

A visually striking and tactilely rich collector's set — an elegant shelf piece with lasting value.
