Covers and slipcase with art by unknowns artist. Some sources say the art is by Pauline Baynes.

The slipcase reads Authorized Canadian Edition of The Lord of the Rings. The Fellowship of the Ring. The Two Towers. The Return of the King.
The back covers read "I welcome the publication in Canada of this edition of The Lord of the Rings" and reproduced a printed signature.

These paperbacks are in unread condition, except for The Fellowship of the Ring that appears read, with some minor rubbing to corners and spine.
The slipcase is showing some rubbing and bumps but overall in a very good condition.

An unusual and very hard to find set, in the original publishers box.
