Smith of Wootton Major, by J.R.R. Tolkien. Published by George Allen & Unwin in 1967, 1st Edition.
A Near Fine example of the First Edition First Impression of this book. The pictorial cover has some very minor rubbing to the edges of the boards and spine folds, allowing a little white to show thru the black background.
The spine is slightly faded, with a bit of rubbing and loss of color to the bottom and the fold areas.
There is no foxing or offsetting in the book, but it does show a tiny bit of spine lean.
The endpapers are clean and bright, no marks or writing. The book is clean and bright, tight binding, a beautiful copy for the collector.
Digital photo's available, inquire if interested.
