A beautiful early impression set of the classic Lord of the Rings. The Fellowship of the Ring is the 14th impression, published in 1964. The Two Towers is a 11th impression from 1965. The Return of the King is a 10th impression, published in 1963.

The Fellowship of the Ring is a 14th impression published in 1964, one of 2,500 copies.
The Two Towers is an 11th Impression published in 1965, one of 2,500 copies.
The Return of the King is a 10th Impression published in 1963, one of 2,500 copies.
Overall the set presents beautifully, with full vibrant colors. All maps are present, and in Near Fine condition.
These books and dustjackets are all in Very Good condition, with some scuffs and edgewear, mainly to the spines of the books.
No foxing or offsetting to the text block or endpapers.
No previous owner's names.
The dustjacket of The Fellowship of the Rings shows the original $5.00 price, the other two jackets are price clipped.
The jackets of the first two volumes show some loss. But the books are in a fabulous condition.
A nice scarce set, in collectable condition.
