Unfinished Tales of Numenor and Middle-earth reissue gets Ted Nasmith cover

A new reissue has been released of the B-format edition of JRR Tolkiens legacy of short stories which inhabit the realm of The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion. Tolkien Calendar 2011 will feature art by Cor Blok

Oliphaunt Limited Edition Poster will be released in March

Oliphaunt is a poem by J.R.R. The Hobbit Movie Likely Pushed to 2012

Peter Jackson has hinted that production for "The Hobbit" will be delayed from the original estimate of March 2010 to the middle of 2010. Speaking to German site Movie Reporter, the producer stated the production will be started after scripts for the two films are complete. Following Jackson's statement, there has been a speculation that the release dates for The Hobbit and The Hobbit 2 will also be pushed back.  Read article

Born of Hope to debut online today

The Hunt For Gollum movie reaches 4 million views

The Lord of the Rings fan movie The Hunt For Gollum has now been seen by over 4 million people from all over the world. While it was only made on a very tiny budget of GBP 3000 and freely distributed through the internet it has proven to be an enormous hit. Music in Middle-earth and Musik in Mittelerde will be released shortly

The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, may be the most important and influential fantasies ever published. Next to these, Tolkien wrote and published an enormous amount of other works, Farmer Giles of Ham, Smith of Wootton Major, Roverandom, Mr. Bliss, Children of Hurin, Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun... to name some.

The aim of this website is to show all books which are currently inside the Tolkien Library. This will give a very good idea of how many books have contributions by the professor and how many fantastic works he actually has written.

Once in a while i will write reviews on upcoming titles published, or general reviews or thoughts. Also you can find all about how to collect Tolkien books.
