This Limited Numbered Edition, signed by Christopher Tolkien, was published in 1987 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the original publication of The Hobbit.

This copy is numbered #55 of 500, and contains the special foreword by Christopher Tolkien.

This copy is in fine condition. Some pages are dent, some foxing on the signature page. Signed by Christopher Tolkien.

No foxing, no marks, still crackles when opened. Most copies have a lot of sunning of the spine, this one is perfect.
