A handsome HarperCollins slipcased set containing the three parts of The Lord of the Rings in matching hardbacks — The Fellowship of the Ring (Part 1), The Two Towers (Part 2), and The Return of the King (Part 3) — together with the fourth hardback volume The Lord of the Rings: A Reader’s Companion by Wayne G. Hammond and Christina Scull.

The set is housed in the publisher’s black slipcase with copper-foil titling and the Ring inscription motif (Eye device within the central ring), as shown. The three Tolkien volumes display the distinctive colour-coded spine designs (cream / green / dark) with copper-foil titles and HarperCollins imprints at the foot. The companion volume matches in style, titled The Lord of the Rings: A Reader’s Companion to the spine and front.

Condition:
Still sealed in the original publisher’s shrinkwrap. The wrap shows minor storage creasing and light compression at corners, as visible in the photographs. The slipcase beneath appears structurally sound and clean. Unopened and unread.
