Vol I: The Fellowship of the Ring is a First impression published in 1966.
Vol II: The Two Towers and Vol III: The Return of the King are also First impressions, published in 1966.

Title of the Two Towers volumes, on the inner flap, was misprinted by the printers, and is blocked out with the correct title printed above (1st State).
The dustjackets are not price clipped, with a small scuff to the spine of the Return of the King, all Very Good Plus or better.
 
All three volumes are in Near Fine condition, clean red boards, bright untarnished gilt, with unfaded top stain, clean and bright textblock, absolutely no foxing or offsetting.

No names or writing in any of the books.
Original maps are in still in place without any extra folds or tears noted.

The dustjackets show beautifully with a slight amount of rubbing to the edges, one small closed tear at the top of the rear panel of the Two Towers, the spines of all three books are lightly tanned.
