Signed "Jay Johnstone".

Isildur is ambushed upon Gladden Fields, he is betrayed by the ring as he tries to swim the River Anduin.

In his hand the broken sword, inscribbed "Narsil is my name" the Ring in his other hand. Over his left shoulder his escort over the right the River.

Hand embellished Giclee print on deep boxed canvas on wooden frame with applied gold to the Ring & halo and then the whole image is enhanced with textured varnish.

Signed and dated.

Limited boxed canvas facsimile of 80

22.5cm x 30.5cm 

A wonderful piece of art that will be admired by any Tolkien fan.
